This time, the tax on tobacco has increased by a huge 11p on the price of cigarettes by 20 and 4p on the price of five cigars, while the Government will continue with the 5% VAT on products relief to help stop smoking, such as stamps and gum. In the last two years, they have banned smoking almost everywhere. They are also making plans to introduce vivid pictorial warnings on cigarette packets and are in talks with retailers to take tobacco products off displays and keeping them under the counter. It will not be long before the ban on smoking in cars.It is as if they have just discovered that smoking kills. Whereas in reality, what they experienced during 30 more.So years or why, now that we have this massive campaign to make people stop smoking? Is it fair for supposedly, to save lives, or is it just so-! called politically correct? Just How smokers have no say in all this? Why smokers are not lobbying their members of Parliament, particularly those who smoke, to slow this head move to a total ban, as it seems that it is the direction that we are going in.And when it's over what will be the next president?
